Margaret Cho, continued ...

“Ha, Margaret is a flirt, but more than that, she is down to earth and very humble,” the comedian said. “A lot of celebrities of her status – she is made mention of on The Simpsons for crying out loud ... that's a special level of fame – are full of themselves and often isolated from the other performers backstage. But Margaret gave mucho kudos to my performance and has invited me to join the cast anytime in the future.”

While she plans to keep The Sensuous Woman alive indefinitely, Cho’s got her plate full with TV and film projects. She starred in the miniseries The Lost Room, which debuted on the SciFi Channel in December, and her guest-starring turn on Fox’s ‘Til Death began in January.
Her first fiction feature film and labor of love, Bam Bam and Celeste, will be released theatrically in March, and she plays a detective opposite Ed Burns and Shannyn Sossamon in August's One Missed Call, a remake of the Japanese horror film Chakushin Ari (2003).

She’s also working on a pilot for Showtime called Mini Mall and lending her voice to the upcoming Logo animated series Rick and Steve: The Happiest Gay Couple in All the World.

Cho is always developing new material for her stand-up routine, giving previews during monologues at Sensuous Woman shows and occasional dates on the road.

She says of all of her interests, it remains the most creatively challenging and professionally satisfying.

“Stand-up comedy, that’s my main profession and the thing that I love and that I hopefully will always do. It’s really inspiring and fun. It’s not just making people laugh – I get to do a lot in terms of activism and, in a way, education, so it’s really a cool thing.”
